As Rob pointed out, the
most expensive sandwich ever has just been sold for a measly $28,000 - a low price to pay for a slice of Heaven, I would have thought. But I'm not convinced. I'm a Godfearing person, though most people would argue otherwise (though honestly, who the fuck wouldn't be afraid of someone omnipresent and omniscient? I mean, if I wasn't, he'd know and that's frankly scary). So anyway (grammar to the wind), as I was saying, it's like this: This is an Edith Piaf sandwich. No more. No less. And it's certainly not a
cheap Japanese imitation (now up to $53!), I mean the parody doesn't even have a bite out of it, for Christ's sake. It could easily be a Marlene Dietrich toastie too - the
resolution of
toast leaves something to be desired - but I'm leaning more to the Piafster.
