Clearly all car doors ought to be like this. It's got greater visibility, can be parked in a smaller space, may well provide better safety, and is at least as cool as pinch-zooming, and just as shiny.

Why would Lincoln try to bury this? What earthly pinko-bashing good could it do anyone? Let's all demand these doors for our next cars!

Hitachi puts money into geek (via Gizmodo).

Why do I care? Good question. Perhaps I shouldn't, and maybe I don't (which is just my way of saying I'm not sure I understand how it works), but my new Macbook Pro's drive is apparently all about Perpendicular, so I figured I should find out. Little did I think I'd find this pastiche of 70s kids educational videos from corporate giant Hitachi.
